and then you become my habit
and then you become my love
and then you turn into a smile
and probably an angel from above

and then you become the light
and then you become a fan
and then you give me sight
and then you show me that i can

and what if i don't mind?
what if i don't care?
what if i decide to turn blind?
is life even that fair?

and then you become the future
and the song i always sing
and then you become my torture
and then you become everything

It's like a pimple that hurts, it's annoying and it's not on a part of your skin where you'd like it to be. It's chronic, painful.
You feel the urge to scratch it, and the more you do, the worse it becomes.

But it feels good.

An Infamous Encounter

He turned around and said "what if I slap you on the face right now?"
"why would you do that?"
"because I feel like it?"
"Well, as long as it won't hurt" and she smiled.
He smiled back, then he took her hand and started walking along the pavement by the Nile.
They never looked back.
She took a sneaky glance at his face while they were walking. A glance that said "I love you, for everything that you are, and everything that you do"
He pretended as if he didn't notice that glance, and he could feel a wide grin within his soul as he took a deep breath of fresh, Nile-enriched air.

He then noticed, that they were walking in the exact same place where, almost 3 years ago, he realized that he was falling for her.
Things always happen for a reason.
She was his reason.

Was his reason.

I am Real

When I need to write the most, I can't find the words. Words have been failing me for a while now. So I've decided to just write, and hope for words to come along.
Two concerts back to back last night, too many mixed feelings, happiness, pride, success, pain, confusion, anger, disappointment, bla bla bla
It's draining me.

I came across a quote that made real sense to me at the very moment. Unfortunately I don't know who came up with it:

"Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect. It means that you've decided to look beyond the imperfections."

I want to feel happy by default, I believe each person creates his/her own reality, and hence fits that reality into his/her life the way it should be. Happiness then becomes a result.
My happiness is different than yours, simple things, actually the simplest things make me happy. Small gestures, smiles, friends, intimacy.

I make my own reality, my reality is real, my life is a journey and I'm driving, I take the turns I want and hence take responsibility for my decisions, and if i go through a road and it's bumpy, I drive slowly till I'm through, and if it's a dead end, well, then how else will I have known?
I'm real

I'm real
